Helen Hunt Exclusive!

Helen Hunt
Sure, we’ve always been mad about Helen Hunt, but since Mad About You hung up its humor, Hunt took her four Emmy Awards and has meticulously laid out a film career that has shared one aspect: Quality over quantity.

Helen Hunt scored an Oscar and a Golden Globe for her role opposite Jack Nicholson in As Good as It Gets in 1997.

In 2000, she appeared in three fantastic films: Robert Altman’s Dr. T and the Women starring Richard Gere, Pay It Forward with Kevin Spacey and What Women Want with Mel Gibson.

The year 2004 saw her in A Good Woman and then Hunt made her directorial debut in 2008 with Then She Found Me, based on the book by Elinor Lipman.

In Every Day, Hunt portrays Jeannie, the wife of Liev Schreiber’s Ned, who together portray a married couple dealing with the challenges of life.

Whether it’s Jeannie’s crass elderly father moving in or the fact that their teenage son just came out as gay -- Ned and Jeannie’s marriage is under stress to say the least.

But, in the hands of an actress of Hunt’s mettle, Jeannie emits a quiet power that gives Every Day its heart.

The 26-year-old British actress who is best known for starring in a number of television serial dramas including 'Little Dorrit', CLAIRE FOY,  says she was shocked at landing a role alongside NICHOLAS CAGE in the recently released medieval thriller 'Season of the Witch', reports the UK's Daily Mail. The movie, which hands Foy her first major film role, follows a group of knights who return to their homeland after it is ruined by the Black Plague.

Foy garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews for her role as 'Amy' in 'Little Dorrit, but admits that she still believed a role alongside Cage was out of the question, saying, "When we had the first official screening of Little Dorrit I had just done my first audition for Season of the Witch and I said to Matthew MACfadyen, 'I am up for this Hollywood film starring Nicolas Cage and that's just never going to happen'". However, CLAIRE FOY said she received the good news several days later and was filming on location in Hungary within a matter of weeks. The actress was born in Stockport, Greater Manchester, and took a drama and film studies course at Liverpool University before being accepted to the Oxford School of Drama.

'Season of the Witch' opened in the US on 7th January 2011, however, it has so far received generally negative reviews, with ContactMusic.com noting, "the plot is so preposterous that it boggles the mind. Nothing that happens makes any sense, even if you suspend the need for internal logic".

PAULA Abdul still loves Simon Cowell!

The former singer — who starred alongside Cowell as a judge on American Idol — says that although the music mogul rubs many people up the wrong way, he’s actually rather likable.

She said that Cowell is an acquired taste.

Recent reports claimed Abdul is “out of control” on the set of her new TV show Live To Dance.

“Abdul has been out of control on the set,” an insider told American tabloid the National Enquirer. “Her favorite phrase is ‘I’m not happy’ — and she’s not happy a lot.

“She started with the food in her dressing room. When she didn’t see her favorite Jolly Rancher candies — she hit the roof.

“And when she had to go searching for Vitaminwater, she complained bitterly, saying she wasn’t getting the respect she deserved.

“At a recent promo shoot, Paula kept everyone waiting while she changed her clothes several times because she thought they didn’t fit right.

“Finally, after six or seven changes, she gave her approval to be photographed, but she still wasn’t thrilled. “She’s been driving everyone else on the show crazy!

“Now Paula is demanding that CBS cough up huge amounts of money to promote Live To Dance. “She wants Idol to regret letting her go.”
